The Allied Vision Alvium G1-131 GigE camera, powered by the ALVIUM® Technology Allied Vision's ASIC chip, features a e2v EV76C560 1/1.8" 1.3 megapixel sensor, 60 fps at full 1280x1024 resolution, and 5.3 µm pixel size.

Alvium GigE and 5GigE cameras are available in a broad spectral range that includes UV, visible, NIR, and SWIR, in color or monochrome with C-mount, CS-mount or S-mount mount options. Color models include an IR cut filter, monochrome models ship with no filter/protection glass. The 5GigE interface provides higher bandwidth without sacrificing image quality, and is backward compatible with existing GigE applications.

Allied Vision Alvium series 1GigE and 5GigE cameras are designed for use in both machine vision and embedded applications. The advanced ALVIUM System on Chip (SoC) performs image corrections and preprocessing tasks onboard instead of on the host computer.
